Miller lash house is a historic building owned by the University of Toronto. The Miller Lash Estate, hidden away in the valley of Highland Creek. In 1913 Miller Lash, a UofT graduate and wealthy lawyer, saw the land’s grassy fields, forest and rushing stream and bought the property right away.  The house’s interior has exposed pine timbers to support the cathedral ceilings and Natural clay used for the roof and floor tiles. The poured-in-place concrete structure may have been the first of its kind in Canada. It is decorated with stones found from the Highland Creek blow. this 17 room home was used as the residence for the Scarborough college campus when it opened in 1965
