The Butterfly conservatory is exactly as it sounds. The ceremonies are standing room only and start at 1,130.00 including HST. They do also have a flat fee for onsite parking so your guests don’t have to pay per person out of pocket. Ceremonies are 2 hours long and are standing room only. Don’t let that deter you. Oakes Garden Theatre
Using the shape of the landscape, the Oakes Garden Theatre built an outdoor amphitheatre. Using the natural beauty, Niagara parks manicures the gardens and lily pond surrounding this outdoor amphitheatre. The stonework is a work of art and it is well maintained.
Ramblers Rest
This Stone pavilion was built in 1907 overlooking the falls. It is located in between the Canadian Horseshoe Falls and the American Bridal Veil Falls. The Falls make the most beautiful backdrop. If you want to take it a step further having your wedding on a holiday at night the falls have beautiful fireworks.
The Floral show house
As the name states it’s a beautiful greenhouse. This greenhouse is home season reflecting flowers and has 3 beautiful places for ceremonies. The first is the rose garden with the sounds of the falls as your backdrop. The artist’s gardens with ponds and tall grasses. Or the tropical foyer of the showhouse. The Foyer can only hold up to 20 guests.
This venue can also be added to your wedding venue as extra for photos. Since there isn’t a lot of space but it is beautiful a lot of couples just opt to fo their photos here. Queenston Chapel
This historic building has quite an interesting story behind it. This chapel was built in 1862 and has authentic gothic-style stained glass windows. The chapel also has curved oak pews decorating the hall. The chapel can only be entered by appointment only as it is a historic building.
As an add-on for this particular venue, you can rent Soldiers to act as ushers for the ceremony. They then have an hour and a half musket demonstration on the grounds of the chapel. This is the only Niagara parks wedding venue that offers live reenactment.

The wedding arbour
This wedding ceremony site is set in the beautiful botanical gardens. Home of perennials, rhododendron, azaleas and so many more plants. This Wedding arbour offers a natural backdrop for your wedding ceremony and wedding photos
The Willow Pond
Still in the botanical gardens surrounded by beautiful gardens. However, this particular location has willow trees and has a water feature. Over the small water feature, there is a small bridge that would make for adorable photos.
All of the Niagara wedding ceremony sites allow you to take photos at other locations. Keep in mind that if they are in use for someone else’s wedding you will not be permitted to interpret. All the outdoor venues are still at the mercy of the weather. If you can, book a backup venue.
The Reception venues
- Table Rock house Restaurant – This venue hosts up to 200 people in their grand hall. Its view of the falls is amazing at night when the falls are lit up.
- Queen Victoria Place Restaurant – With a view of both American and Canadian falls. This restaurant is the most scenic for a wedding reception. While they do not do ceremonies they do offer buffet-style food. The dance floor is on the second floor of the venue with a charming gathering area. You get a clear view of the fireworks from this venue
- Queenston Heights – This venue also hosts a ceremony at no extra cost on the terrace overlooking the lake. The Restaurant is surrounded by lush greens and a manicured lawn.
- Legends on the Niagara – This stone and mahogany clubhouse can hold your ceremony and reception. The Building is surrounded by lush greens used for the gold course so they are well maintained and overlook the lake.
- Whirlpool Restaurant – This restaurant offers views of one of Canada’s top-ranked golf courses. This is one of the more affordable reception halls.
