Have a scenic wedding at the Palais Royale in Toronto

A Wedding at the Palais Royale in Toronto is like no other. Built-in 1922 and restored in 2005, this venue overlooks Lake Ontario. During its time as a dance hall, it was frequented by famous people such as Count Baris and Duke Ellington. More recently, it has been a host to the artist Sting! 

The ballroom has colour tones of creams and platinum blends with aged wood. The original barrel-vaulted ceiling is still alive and intact. The neutral colours complement the famous 1700 square foot, hardwood maple dance floor. The slightly raised stage sits above the focal point of the dance floor drawing all the attention to the center.

In the back of the ballroom in between the two bars sits the still-intact original fireplace—this gas fireplace has an astonishing beautiful hearth.  Behind the bars and fireplace is where they keep the state of the art kitchen where they handle the in house catering services.

Behind the stage of the ballroom is the red room. Fully furnished with the built-in private bar, this room is perfect for the private VIP sitting area. 

The bridal suite, or the green room, is on the lower floor, and it is offered for the bridal party or event organizers who need the space. It features a private washroom, dressing area counter and fridge. 

A two-tier, 4000 square feet courtyard patio overlooks Lake Ontario; creating the perfect backdrop for wedding ceremonies. Surrounded on either side with picturesque outdoor gardens. With the sun setting across the lake makes for excellent photo opportunities. Customizable patio lighting to help create a romantic atmosphere. This area seats one hundred and fifty guests, accommodating eight speakers for outdoor dancing. There is the option for a canopy as well. 

As pretty as this venue is, it is also wheelchair accessible. All washrooms and rooms on-site are easily accessible to everyone. Not only is the restroom accessible, but they do also have changing tables for the youngest guests.
